Q: i was/am having a sweet 16 and we had everything together the limo, dresses (because its a sweet 15 and 16), photography, DJ, Decoration, cake. we reserved the armory for 300 dollars on May 14 Then on July 14 they told us that they accidentally booked 2 poeple for the same day they told us the other persons came 5 days before us therefor they get the place and not us. Now we have no place to do the party at and the Armony is planning to give no money back for what we allready wasted on for the party. my mom is suewing but do you think it will work out?
A: Ok, first of all you have to keep positive. You should get your money back for the armory since it was their fault. All you need to do is search for another hall. Check all your local recreation centers, community centers, halls, hotes, bowling alleys and ethnic center (we had ours at a polish center and were not polish) Bowling Alleys have great banquet rooms and you dont have to bowl. Use google to look up halls and banquet facilities in your area. Check your phone book. Check the bowling alleys and hotels and also parks have indoor rental areas too. Also bingo halls rent their spaces out too. It will work out if you want it to work out. Don't let this get you down. Stand tall and move forward and make it happen. Positive thinking yields positive results. The path of life is full of sharp turns and detours, as long as you take your time and keeping going forward you will get to where you are trying to go.
