Q: I have this big quiz right now, and they gave me an article to read, but it absolutely nothing about Iraqi kids' birthdays. Does anyone know? I searched Google, but got nothing, so if you could help me by the end of today; it would be greatly appreciate it!!! -cyber chick
A: okay well im an iraqi im 16 but i left iraq when i was 7 so i dont remember much but my siblings always tell me stories about there party's.....its way different from here they would invite their best girlfriends over and they would have cake and stuff and games but the music was always aproprate families would be over and there wouldn't be any "grinding" or alcohol or sex or any of that not b/c of age but thats the tradition im not muslim so you cant say b/c of your religon im a catholic. the wierd thing is im planing my 16 b-day for next week and im in the U.S. but im trying to find fun activities that dont involve this...now i would appreciate that you share this info with anyone that you would like but i would just like to inform people here about my culture as a christian...and i hope i have been helpful and good luck on your quiz
