I don't know your budget, but what I see as the perfect sweet 16 is this: rent a nice ballroom that has a stage. Have about 3 bands play during the party, and you have a gorgeous dress. There's a present table, and everyone is dancing, traditional or not. After about 2 hours, you get everyone together and do something special. Or, if you're like me and have almost no money for a sixteenth birthday, you could have a fun night with your closest friends and go on a mall hunt. On a "mall hunt", you divide into 3 or 4 groups. Each person in a group is given 5 bucks. You also have a list of odd objects that you have to buy, like: dotted blue boxers pink hair dye butterfly clips checkered knee-high socks yellow glow sticks dora the explorer underwear and stuff like that. the first group back with all the stuff wins something. hope that helps!
