Q: Good fun ideas for a girl turning 13? for a girl in year 7 and it'll be a boys and girls party.. Not too expensive :]

A: 13 is the turning point in a childs life.... they are no longer lil kids, sorta speek and they are not yet adults but young adults instead... i have always thought a turning point birthday should be very special as well as something the child and parent would always remember for always... so heres my sugestion... take the birthday girl and her party to the skating rink...(roller or ice doesnt matter) which ever one they like the most... most rinks will rent the rink out for private partys so you can have it all to yourselves, more room to have loads of fun... we ordered pizzas to be delivered to the rink and the rink supplyed the cake and drinks and games and music of their choice as well to make it very memorable invite at least 15-20 kids and secretly let them in on a plan ... make up 15-20 small paper plates with whip cream on them maybe in different colors.(food color can be used for this ) have the birthday girl stand in the middle of the party area( preferably over a mopable floor where food stuffs are aloud) blind folded. tell her that you will be doing a pinyatta :)) this will sway her away from thinking you may be up to something...:)) have the kids stand in a circle around her with the plates behind their backs then tell her to take off the blind fold and wammy get her with multi pies in the face,body,etc... make sure someone is standing close by with a camera to get just the right photos... this will be something she and you will never forget and a way to boot her in to the teen years too... also make sure if she wares glasses or contacts to have her remove them before hand so as not to break them or hurt her eyes with the contacts.. its all in good clean fun and none of you will ever forget it... think of it as an inishation in to her teen yrs... :)) hope you have fun and happy 13th birthday girl... cheers mystic
