Q: i am thinking about getting a telescope, but they're a lot of money, and i am thinking about getting him something else. he is a hot nerd that is very picky. he has everything, and it's kinda hard to get something for someone that has evrything. i am open to any suggestions.
A: Well I'm also a nerd, a real science nerd, who's very picky so let me think about some thing's I'd want if I were him. 1. plans for the hydrofueler at hydrofueler.com (lets you build a machine to run a car or gas generator on tapwater) (these work great by the way) 2. A telescope mirror about 8" or atleast 5". The rest of the parts come easy and it's a great project. The mirror is the most important part of a telescope. 3. A bug zapper from HomeDepot. 4. A really big pineapple upside down cake. 5. Tickets to a movie, like Ironman or Hancock. 6. A used oscilloscope off craigslist. 7. some of those Dockers non wrinkle pants. I've always wanted some but never get around to buying clothes.
