Q: In these modern times and the age in which we now live. I am an Aussie too and I believe the National Day of any country should be an important day to all of it's citizens. If this is not so, then we have no need of history, it's mistakes and misfortunes. Can't we all give reasons for the importance of our "national days". whether we were right or wrong in history, should make no difference.
A: well its a day to be greatful for the freedoms and rights that we are so fortunate to posses. and its a day to celebrate the independence and birthday of this great nation. its also a day where we can forget our differences and celebrate something that we all have in common, we all live in the greatest nation on earth and im proud to be apart of it. happy independence day and god bless america.
