Q: I work with adults with learning disabilities. We have 'special days' where we celebrate other cultures. One of these is July 4th, American Independence day. What simple foods could we eat for lunch? How could we dress up? How can we decorate our centre for the day? What activities could we do, or research on the internet? What will you or your community be doing? What does the avarage American do? Pictures; links etc would be great. Thank you.

A: Have them make replicas of the American flag and decorate the room with all of them. Wear red, white and blue clothes. Eat hot dogs, burgers, french fries and a MUST is apple pie. Perhaps rent a film about the time
