A: I think breaking the law won't help. You can refuse to drive, refuse to buy gas, ride your bike, walk, take the bus...but i hope you don't mean steal gas - pump it and then drive off without paying. You will be arrested. It will use up more gas to drive you to jail, and go back to court a few times. You are not hurting the big oil companies when you do this either, you are hurting the guy who owns a gast station in your town who isn't necessarily rich....
