Is it irreverent to throw out a dreidel?

Q: Sorry, I am not Jewish....I have 4 small, wooden dreidels maybe a 1/2 inch by an inch or so) that I bought for a school project and do not play with them anymore, but I know that the letters say 'a great thing happened there' and refer to the Temple and Hanukkah. So, I guess it's sort of like a prayer...? I can't think of anybody who'd want them, though, and there's no Jewish community center near here. Am I a bad person if I just toss them out? Is there someplace where I could take them? Nobody in my class seemed to want them.

A: no you can throw it out anything unless it has one of our god's name (he has a few) and actually it means "a great miracle happened there" its okay to throw out a driedel
