Q: Anybody do anything fun, or creative for Earth Day? My dogs and I cleaned out an eldery neighbors flower beds, made peanutbutter and seed balls for the birds, and a group of us are meeting at 4:00 to walk around the neighborhood and clean up any trash, then we will all go to the park nearby for a feast.
A: Congrats on what you did! We need more people like you. So many people take for granite what we have. We live here on Earth, and should take better care of it before its too late. Its easier to prevent somethiing than to try and fix it when its too late. Today, for Earth Day, my neighbors and i went to the local park, and cleaned all the trash surrounding the waters. So many animals live there, and the water was just polluted with trash. Its so much prettier and enjoyable when its taken care of. My husband and i also did some backyard work. He bought me supplies to plant a butterfly habitat. I grows flowers and bushes that butterflys are attracted too. We also put a bird feeder up, especially since there isw a birds nest outside our window. I also decided to start recycling my soda cans. I honestly drink a lot of soda, and never realized how many cans come out of it. Besides, some people dont realize that you can actually get paid to recycle! Its a win-win situation. Happy Earth Day!
