A: 30th Sept is Day 1 of Navaratri. Amavasya being on 30th Sept. That ends the Shraddha days. Maha Sashti is on 5th oct. 2008 Maha Ashtami on 8th Oct. 2008 Dusserah is on 9th Oct 2008. All quite early. Wish you had put the Q in Dasara section. Many would have got the days. Diwali is on 28th Oct. 2008, Naraka Chaturdashi being on 27th Oct 2008.
