A: Diwali is a Holiday for the Hindus living all over the World. Mainly celebrated in India and Nepal. It is a Festival of lights. Very like Christmas in its celebrations. Rows of oil Lamps usually light up the houses. Commercialization is changing them to electrical lights. Besides new clothes and exchange of sweets and gifts, Family meet for Prayers together followed by a Dinner. Quite like in Thanksgiving. Then follows lighting and Fireworks. A significance is to Kindle that inner Light. Light up that light within each person. Actually, Diwali* is like no other Festival in the World. It is so much fun.
