Q: never heard of it before inform me please! no dude, dasara therefore it's under the section "Dasara"

A: Dasara is the 10- Day Festival of the Hindus. The most important day is the 10th Day. It is a day when Processions are held in may parts of the country. In East India, the Idol of the Goddess Durga is immersed in water. In North India, the effigies of Demon Kings are burnt. Marking the end of evil. It is a Holiday when the Good in a person is invoked. The "Shakti" or strength that is inside all Human Being. Each Day, the "Mother Goddess " is invoked. And a form is worshiped each day. Like "Matri Rupa"= Form of a Mother. Shakti Rupa = Strength. Shanti Rupa= the Peace within. 9 forms are worshiped and prayed for. This goes on for 9 days. Then , on the 10th / Dasara Day, there is festivity. Exchange of sweets. People meet and hug each other. Feed others. I hope I have been able to explain it to you.
