Q: I celebrate Dasera every year but this year I don't have the puppets for burning it can you tell me where I can find them.
A: In a personal Dusserah celebration, we do not burn anything. We pray, make sweets; some worship arms, vehicles. Some go for praying to Goddess Durga. She is immersed. And her victory of Good over evil is also celebrated with sweets. Effigies of Ravana are burnt with crackers in them and a communal celebration. And Dusserah is next Sept-Oct as someone mentioned. Wish you a good puja.
