Q: ok right now i've lived with my parents in europe for the past 5 years im 18 years old and in october im moving out to be a live in nanny somewhere, and well my parents are probably moving back to the states in the beginning of december, so this will be my first christmas alone, any ideas? what can i do? .. besides spending it with the family i'll be working with... yeah i do have some good friends but i dont know if it would bother them or not.. i mean here christmas is more of a religion thing rather than it is with santa and such in america, which is way cool and i dont know if they prefer only having family around or not...

A: Maybe you could try bringing it up with your friends about how you are thinking of what to do on Christmas this year since you family will be miles away. If they don't say "hey come to my Christmas" then don't push. If you are stuck being alone, rent some fun movies before the beg day and sit on the couch watching them. If you aren't focused that it's a holiday night it won't seem different from any other night. Or you could work volunteering some place, I know many places need people Christmas, they would LOVE to have you!
