Q: In Latin America people go singing and partying almost until mid January. Friends and family get together and have "parrandas" between 12midnight and 6am almost every weekend. Why is Christmas here just that one day? It's the birth of our Savior. CELEBRATE!
A: It's all what you put in to it. I don't think that it is boring at all. I think that Latin America celebrates more during that time of year is because there is first, Christmas then New Year and after that is Three Kings Day. The US doesn't celebrate Three Kings Day, at least not to the extent of Latin America. There is really more holiday packed into a few weeks.
