A: It really depends on the guy and his interests, how long you've known him, and what his relationship to you is. Food is usually a good gift for most guys. My DH loves it when I make him his fave meal or a special treat. This works well with guys you haven't known for very long as well. A plateful of homemade cookies make a very thoughtful gift without too much fuss or money. Never spend a lot of money on a guy you've only just recently started dating. It is creepy and inappropriate. If you don't cook, take him out to a restaurant or picnic. Guys love to be treated. A DVD to a favorite movie that he has been wanting or the latest CD to his favorite band/artist is good for someone you are just beginning to date. This is really a hard question to answer in a general sense, since guys are really diverse. One type of gift that would make one guy thrilled will turn another guy off completely. The best cool guy gifts are gifts that reflect his hobbies and interests. Try not to get too sentimental or flowery. Guys are really not that into it. Some are, but most aren't.
