Strictly for non christians in the UK?

Q: Us Christmas celebraters in the UK were told last christmas that we had to down play our public display of festivity in case we might offend non christians. Result for us was pretty dull and you know, just not the same. Please tell me, would you guys really have been offended if we had carried on as normal? no one tole me to play down anything but it was all over the news and radio before xmas, rather hope it's not true but it was rather dull out there sod itI mean told Look, I am not a god botherer but I do like a good party and I am actually interested in the non- christian answers, hence the fecking strap. feck of penny whatever, don't assume facts not in evidence, you are not bright enough

A: I myself am an atheist, i understand that you have aimed this question at the religious minority in the UK. However, Christmas today is seen as not a time to celebrate Christ but to buy as many presents as possible with as little money as you can so you can spend the rest on booze and trying to get Tracy from accounts to photocopy her a*se at the Christmas do. It is not just about religion, we are not allowed to fly the flag of St George from council buildings in some parts of our country. The whole place is going down the pan. If only the lads and lassies during W W 1 and W W 2 knew that this would be the end result. They wouldn't have bothered.
