Q: Its so weird my neagibor still has there christmas lights up
A: The real question is this ... IF They are elderly, and they are doing everything themselves -- would they like (or need) a bit of HELP To take the lights down and fix/clean/put them away for now? Then ... if they need help -- OFFER your help and go do it for them SOMETIMES they are leaving the lights up because they are expecting some family member to RETURN from Deployment Soon -- and want them to SEE the cheer of the season at the time they arrive (because they certainly did not have 'holiday' while deployed). SOMETIMES they are just lazy -- and leave the strings out and don't plug them in until November ... and that is OK (Except ... when one realizes that this allows plants to overgrow -- and they can damage structures when that happens). Maybe they LIKE the lights on -- it allows them the COMFORT of Cheer, lights the path (for someone who has sight difficulties), or just is something they LOVE to see. Then that is OK too -- for one needs to respect their feelings on the matter.
