Q: I know 2 family members who do this and I find it so hypocritical and ridiculous. They boast how they think the notion of God is foolish but exchange gifts and Christmas themed cards (with Santa, holy family, etc.) with others. To Univee and others who don't know. The tradition of exchanging gifts at Christmas (esp giving gifts to children) is from the 3 Wisemen who brought gifts for the newborn baby Jesus.
A: It is ridiculous, especially if you know they are non - believers... But I guess they are guided by one bad thing...TRADITION! Some people would rather be one of the sheep, then stand out of the crowd.
