Q:

A: People spend a great deal of effort to put up lights. So, they want to enjoy them. Epiphany was this week. So, lights could be "legally" run through then. The Greek Orhtodox celebrate Christmas in January (they did not want it to be so close to the winter's solstice), so some can have their lights up for that reason. A couple of the decorators I know will show through MLK day. Others turned theirs off last Saturday.
