Q: Our electric bill increased from $384.92 to $632.85 in one month. We didn't have any Christmas decorations or anything like that. The only thing I can think of is that I bought a computer after Thanksgiving and had the Internet installed. Could this be the reason? Can there be a mistake? We live in Texas-not much to heat. Our meter is located behind some bushes in our front yard. My mom just thinks some meter reader just made up something so he wouldn't have to go thru those bushes. On the meter I see about 5 little dials, I don't know how to read it and they don't seem to be moving.
