Q: I have heard that you are not suppose to take it down on the 6th of january and someone else told me not untill sometime in February.
A: until after feb 2 this is the Presentation of Jesus from what i was taught, Mary and Joseph took Jesus to the temple to be presented to God on this day. here at our house we throw a big feast this day, and usually take down the nativity the day after jan 6 is simply the day the magi reach Jesus
